Gay Bombay’s signature event “Makar Sankranti Rainbow Kites Flying Event” returns this month

The GB kite flying event is a vibrant open air public queer event where members and allies set rainbow kites soaring in the sky, along with their spirit!

Day: Sunday, January 15th 2023
Time: from 4 pm onward at Silver Beach, Juhu ( the area between Tulip Star and Novotel)

GB will arrange kites and all the paraphernalia and will serve delicious refreshment as well after the kite flying; typically we have a few expert kite flyers who will launch the kites and others can then hold on to them!

It is a free event as with most GB events and people of all genders and age groups are most welcome to participate!

3rd November, 2019: GB Meet at Versova

Time: 6 pm (18 00 hours), assemble at Gate Number 4, Versova Metro Station.

Venue: Our venue at Seven Bungalows, Versova.
Prior to the meet, assembly at Gate Number 4, Versova Metro Station.

Versova is a metro station and the western terminus of Line 1 of the Mumbai Metro serving the Versova neighbourhood of Andheri in Mumbai, India. The station is located at Seven Bungalows.

At 6:30pm: We move to a home venue a few minutes walk away for chat and discussions

Cover: Free Entry; refreshments and tea will be served

As it is a home venue with presence of family members, please dress appropriately; Gay Bombay meets are inclusive, lgbt members and allies are welcome!
