We’re thrilled to announce something truly special this month—an informal, heartfelt Meet & Greet where queer individuals are invited to bring their mothers to a safe, welcoming space hosted by Gay Bombay in Versova.

Venue details will be shared soon, but we wanted to give you a heads-up so you can start the conversation with your mums and save the date.

This isn’t a formal event. Think of it as a warm circle of connection—an opportunity to sit together, share stories, and celebrate the relationships that shape us. We’ll talk about Gay Bombay’s journey, our community efforts, and the historic moment when GB hosted the first-ever parents’ meet in Mumbai’s LGBTQ+ community.

We’re proud to share that we have already invited a few wonderful mothers to grace the gathering, and we’re looking forward to making this a memorable space for mutual love, learning, and laughter.

This meet is part of our continuing commitment to serve the community with thoughtfulness and intent. Last month, we hosted a session on financial security and mental health in the LGBTQ+ space. This time, we are embracing something even more personal—family.

Because visibility is important, but so is understanding. And who better to bring into this space than the women who raised us?

Whether your mother is an unwavering ally or someone still opening up to the idea—this space is for you both.

All queer folks and their mothers are warmly welcome.
