4th August, 2024: GB Friendship Day Meet at Versova


In India, Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in the month of August.

Friends tie a Friendship band (a ribbon band) to each other as a gesture of celebrating their friendship.

People who celebrate it generally wear a white t-shirt on that day and they write each other’s names or friendship quotes on it.

If you wish, please feel free to get your friendship bands and friends along to the meet.

Time: 6 pm (18:00 hours), assemble at Gate Number 4, Versova Metro Station.

Venue: Member’s home @Seven Bungalows, Versova.
Prior to the meet, assembly at Gate Number 4, Versova Metro Station. Near Bon Bon Shoe Shop.

Versova is a metro station and the western terminus of Line 1 of the Mumbai Metro serving the Versova neighbourhood of Andheri in Mumbai, India. The station is located at Seven Bungalows.

At 6:30pm: We move to a home venue a few minutes walk away for chat and discussions
Cover: Free Entry; refreshments and tea will be served

As it is a home venue with presence of family members, please dress appropriately; Gay Bombay meets are inclusive, LGBTQIA+ members and allies are welcome!
